Donkey and well
21/11/2012 14:51
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less from people but more from yourself

Roy Hunter Teaches in Bahrain
20/09/2012 10:59
My company is now working closely with Roy Hunter to sponsor and promote his workshops outside of the US. I got the chance to travel with him to Bahrain and take part in his latest Parts Therapy workshop. I thought I would share a few comments with you.
I was really impressed with how Dr. Puja Taneja Malhotra, the sponsor, worked. Dr Puja is a local Health Psychologist & Hypnotherapist and arranged for the workshop to be held at the prestigious King Hamad University Hospital, Muharrq, Bahrain and the 28 students were professional hypnotherapists mixed with doctors, psychologists and other medically trained professionals.
Roy Hunter has long worked to build a bridge between the two camps that have divided hypnotherapy for so many years.
A big step in this direction is his newly published “The Art of Hypnotic Regression Therapy” co-authored with psychologist Dr Bruce Eimer.
Now with the help and hard work of Dr. Puja Taneja Malhotra another big step has been taken in this direction.
What was even more special, Dr. Baha Eldin Fateha, Chief Executive Officer, Bahrain National Health Regulatory Authority, presented the class with their certificates, along with Dr Roy Hunter.
Below is the photograph taken by the Gulf Daily News
Picture taken on the the first day of most of the class (some were photo shy!) Roy Hunter is in the middle, with me on his left. Dr Puja is in front of Roy with green shirt & light trousers
